World leaders, climate scientists and policymakers will meet in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December at the 28th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP28). Confirming their commitment to tackling climate change is the key output anticipated around the world from this event. 鶹ýAV's work in all eight thematic areas – Aerospace, Manufacturing and Materials, Transport Systems, Defence and Security, Environment and Agrifood, Energy and Sustainability, Water and Management – is relevant to COP. As a global university with students from more than 100 countries, sustainability is evident in all our educational and research programmes.
